Hi everyone!
I created a new blog, so I would appreciate it if you would follow that one instead of this one. Thank you!

NEW BLOG! Please read
Hi everyone! This is Katie here, and I have some big news.
I made a new blog for the dolls.
Yes, I did. I am very tired of this blog, and I couldn't post while school was in session. And I didn't like the way I've managed this blog. And I didn't like how it wasn't exciting. I didn't like much of it at all, to be exact! I have grown so tired of it! It's so boring! So, I have created a new blog where all ten of my dolls will be posting. Here is the link: http://summeradventuresofag.blogspot.com/
The link will also be on the sidebar!
The new blog will:
Be FIFTY times better.
Have MORE posts.
Have MORE pictures.
Be more attractive.
Be more organized.
I will move all of the links to other blogs that I have on my blog list to the new blog also. It's going to take me a while to get the blog perfectly polished, but probably only 2 days at the most. Here is what I will be doing:
-Finding a good background.
-Making a header.
-Fixing the fonts.
-Creating a blog list.
-Deciding whether or not the blog will be for all of the dolls or just one...
I would really appreciate it if y'all spread the word that I have created a new blog for the dolls. I promise I will post more on there. The new blog will be awesome!
Love,
Katie
P.S. I am still going to buy a surprise doll! ;)
UPDATE: I have just realized that I will have the surprise doll be the author of the blog, but for now the blog will be The Summer Adventures of 10 American Girls.

Update! Please read if you can!
I, Katie, will be making a brand-new, ten times more awesome, American Girl blog! Yep.
But guess what? It will be written by a new mystery doll I am going to be getting, and I will post the link on this blog once I receive the doll. The blog has not been created yet, but will definitely be created VERY soon... I almost have enough to buy the doll I really want.
I'll give you a hint about the doll: She's not a Just-Like-You.
Love,
Katie

News from Katie
Well, this is hard for me to say, but I must.
I will no longer post on this blog regularly.
Yes. Maybe I'll post once in a while, but not as much as I used to. Why? Well, there are a number of reasons:
1) I am bored with this blog, it's not what I wanted it to be.
2) I don't have very much time, what with school and family and friends.
3) I have pretty much outgrown American Girl dolls. The only doll I will continue buying things for is Rebecca, and possibly Molly. I might buy Emily, but she will be my last doll if I do happen to buy her.
BUT, I will still be on YouTube, and still keep the blog's email running, and I have another blog, a book blog called Rainy Day Reviews. I talk about books I am reading, books I am wanting to read, stories I'm writing, and a lot of other literature-related topics. I usually post about once every two weeks, but I'm going to hopefully start posting once a week, on weekends.
So, yeah, I might buy Emily, but she'll be my final doll unless I miraculously get back into American Girl again.
Love,
Katie

We will be taking a break from this blog until (at the most) June. We will then decide whether or not this blog shall still be regularly updated.
You can still find us on the links at the sidebar, though. We will also post if we create a new blog.

Oh My
I am terribly sorry it's been so long since my last post! Please forgive me! I am doing lots of schoolwork these days, and Pioneer is doing tons of schoolwork too.
Pioneer doesn't get home from school on weekdays till almost 5 PM, because her school doesn't get out till 4 PM, and then doesn't usually get on the bus till about 4:20, and then the drive to her house is 15 minutes long, then she has to finish her homework and catch up on her writing. She just mumbled about how she wishes that school still started at 8 AM, not 9 AM, which is the time her school starts, so that she would get home an hour earlier because if your school starts at 8 then you usually would get home at 3 PM. She would much rather get up an hour earlier than get home an hour later.
Pioneer is also mad because the school cheerleaders are selling carnations for students to buy for other students for Valentine's Day. How pointless.
Sorry this post sounded "angry", we're just stressed over school.
So, the point of all this is to say that we don't have time to post. I might be able to post once on the weekends, but don't expect a post very often. :'( I'm so sorry I can't post, I am so mad, I just don't have time.

Choir Christmas Party
So, on Christmas Eve Kimdale's Christmas Choir sang at the Christmas gala. That picture is of me in my choir costume, the wool skirt was super itchy! We sang, "Hark! the Herald Angels Sing", "Sleigh Ride", "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer", "Forsty the Snowman", "Walking in a Winter Wonderland", and "I have a little Dreidel". It was really fun!
After we finished singing, we all ran back to our dorms, got our pajamas on and grabbed our pillows and blankets, and then ran back to the choir room, where we had our own little party. Our choir teacher put in the movies 'Elf', 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer', and 'It's A Wonderful Life' (I requested it since it's my absolute most very favorite Christmas movie). She gave us cookies, milk, and other treats to eat too while we watched to movies.
We stayed in the choir room till midnight, and then we all went back to our dorms. I had a sleepover with Mia, and we set out the cookies for Santa with Pioneer. :)
It was probably the best party I'll ever go to! I had so much fun!
Well, I've got to go now, but I promise to start posting more often.

P.S. Do you like my background? Purple is my favorite color, in case you didn't know.

Of parties, dolls, resolutions, and updates
I'm really bad. I still can't post pictures. I promise you though that they will be up TOMORROW! For my New Year's resolution, I have decided to stop procrastinating. I asked Pioneer if that was a good idea, and she said it was brilliant, but when I asked her if she would do it with me, she laughed and said it wasn't possible for her, and that she decided to control her temper better.
Well, then.
Anyway, Pioneer is still saving up for Lanie, except she has confirmed that she will rename her Lah-nie instead of Law-nie or Lay-nie. So, yeah.
On another note, Pioneer's birthday party is next weekend. She is inviting 2 of her very close friends, 1 friend that used to be very close, and 1 utterly boring friend that she was kinda forced to invite because one of the the other friends she is inviting has a big mouth, so if the boring friend ever found out that she was not invited, everything would become chaotic. But Pioneer is sad because er best, best, BEST friend in the whole world that she has known for the longest time moved away to Canada in June, so Pioneer can't invite her, which depresses her. Anyway, 1 of her very close friends, however, LOVES American Girl just as much as Pioneer and got 1 for Christmas, but unfortunately that friend doesn't know what doll it is. Pioneer told me she will try to find out, though, since I am nagging her so much because I really would like to meet the doll.
Well, since I am blabbing about different things, I shall now change to a different random topic. I don't really have any friends here at Kimdale yet. :( I haven't really met anyone who "clicks" with me, ya know? Pioneer says that she feels the same way at her new school, but I think it's sort of different for dolls. I mean, the girls here are super nice, but I don't have any friends. No one. Pioneer said that maybe some new girls will arrive and that they could be my best friend. O_o
Well, there is a random post. Sorry I'm kind of neglecting this blog a little, I don't have much time to post on weekdays. :P

First post in 2010
Lucy here! No pictures yet, busy week.
I can't believe we have started a new decade! Wowzers. 2010. 2010. 2010. 2010. It feels so weird saying it because I say twenty-ten. O_o
Well, nothing much is going on here. Pioneer is trying to figure out how to use Picnik right now, and so far it's not working out that well. But she has to figure it out sooner or later, and then I will be able to post awesome photos on here. :D
Pioneer is saving up for Lanie's starter collection and nightgown set. She says Lanie is just adorable. I think she looks nice, so I hope when she arrives we can be friends. Hopefully she'll arrive soon because Pioneer doesn't have *that* much more to save up (well, actually about 1-3 months worth.), so yeah.
Sorry for the short post, I have to go help Pioneer with Picnik. Lord only knows how long that will take.

A post from Katie
Wow, today is the last day of 2009. Tomorrow will be a whole new year! It seems like yesterday I was struggling to keep my eyes open as I waited for AG to update their site, lol.
Anyway, I shall now talk about Lanie. I love her. She is adorable. I am going to save up my money this year so that I can buy her. I just love her! If I do buy her, I am going to change her name a bit. Instead of pronouncing it Lay-nie, I am going to pronounce it Lah-nie. I just don't think Lay-nie suits her well. She looks more of a Lah-nie to me. :P
I especially love the outfit she is wearing on the cover of her second book, Lanie's Real Adventures. I just can't get over how darn cute she is! She kind of reminds me of one of my brother's best friends, M., who is a girl. M. looks a lot like Lanie, except for the eye color and the curls. O_O
Now, for my New Year's Eve plans:
-Relax
-Read
-Write
-Have family come over for dinner.
-Watch fireworks
-Stay up late
-Check AG site
Yeah, not very exciting, but oh well. Gotta go tend to other activities of sorts no, so I shall now bid thee farewell (old fashioned style! Lol!)

Christmas Eve!
Wednesday, December 23, 2009
2 days!
2 days until Christmas! I am so excited! That's a picture of me in my Santa hat and holding up my stocking. What are you asking for from Santa Claus?
Have you heard about the new GOTY 2010? Her name is Lanie Holland. In her books she sounds sweet. Pioneer loves her so far, and she says that she is asking for her for Christmas (by ordering her as a late Christmas present). If you want to find out more about Lanie, click HERE. Doll Diaries is THE place to go to find out information about your favorite doll brand! Pioneer discovered it last December, and loves it.
What are your plans for tomorrow and Christmas day? Tomorrow is the holiday gala where I will be singing. Anabella Howard (the girl I mentioned in the last post) is in the choir, I just noticed at practice yesterday. I didn't realize that she was the one who was such a teacher's pet and always got called on to sing a solo because of her beautiful voice. Ms. Crandall, our choir teacher, says I need to practice a little, so I don't get to sing solos. :( But Anabella gets to sing a solo tomorrow. I don't really know her yet, though, but I guess I will tomorrow at the after-party for choir members!
Speaking of the after-party, Ms. Crandall announced it yesterday! She said that we will be having our after-party at 9:30, when the holiday gala ends. We are having it in the choir room. Ms. Crandall is going to recite, "The Night Before Christmas" to us and act it out, then we will watch Christmas movies and eat sweets! It lasts till midnight, then we all have to run back to our dorms and wait for Santa Claus to come! I'm very excited!
I have to go practice now. yes, even though it's Christmas break, the choir students must practice this week. :P Bye and have a good day!

It's Christmastide again!
I can't wait for Christmas Eve! I like it better than Christmas day for some reason. Probably because Christmas day goes by WAY too fast!
The holiday gala is on Thursday night. I'm very excited. Nellie, one of Pioneer's dolls, said that there's this girl named Anabella who will be there. She is supposed to be really popular and stuff, but I don't know her yet. Nellie says she's not very nice. O_o
Pioneer is sad because Chrissa is sold out, and she wanted her for Christmas, but oh well, there is always *drum roll* eBay! Haha!
I've gotten to know one of Pioneer's dolls quite well, Mia. She's very nice. She told me she would teach me how to ice skate at the practice rink here at Kimdale, which is awesome because I am awful at ice skating, I usually end up on ym backside and bruised when at the rink. :P
Well, I'll post more tomorrow!

Getting the Christmas tree!
Hello all! Merry *early* Christmas!
I will make a Picasa album of my trip to get Pioneer's Christmas tree soon. It was 2 weeks ago I believe, but oh well.
I am so excited for Christmas! It is my absolute most very favorite day ever! I love it even more than my birthday! Kimdale is having a holiday gala, but I won't be mingling because I'm in the school Christmas choir! I'll be singing songs there. We will be singing, "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing", "O Christmas Tree", "Jingle Bell Rock", "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree", and then "O Night Divine." We will also sing, "I have a little Dreidel" for the Jewish dolls at Kimdale.
And now, I present unto you the glory of my Christmas wishlist:
Winter Pajamas for Dolls
Holiday Shoe Set for Dolls
Flute Set
A pet!
This gorgeous dress
Best Dressed Black Dress
So, that is my wishlist. The chances of getting every single of these items are slim to none, but I really want at least 1 thing from here.
I have to go Christmas shopping now, so I will post later.
Lots of warm and funzy feelings,
Lucy >.<

My first post
Hi! As you all know, my name is Mary-Lucia "Lucy" Kenelly, and I am the new author of this blog.
Well, for starters I'm a JLY #34, and my favorite color is purple. I'm 11. My favorite thing to do besides write is read fantasy (princesses, dragons, fairies, witches, etc.) and historical fiction (preferably about the 1800s and the Holocaust) novels. I am a student at Kimdale Academy for Young Ladies.
So, that's me. :P
Anyway, I started Kimdale last Monday. I really like it here! My dorm is on the other side of the building, away from Pioneer's other dolls' dorms. It's really cool!
Sorry for such a short first post, but I have to get off now. I'll write more later!
Bye!

A Very Important Anouncement Containing the Fate of this Blog
Dear Readers,
With lots of thinking, us dolls (that being Kirsten, Nellie, Nicki, Ruthie, Mia, Samantha, Molly, and Rebecca) have decided something. It has been thought about for a while now, and we have decided that it should happen.
8 of us (Kirsten, Nellie, Nicki, Ruthie, Mia, Samantha, Molly, Rebecca) have decided that we will not be posting on this blog anymore. We are handing the blog over to Lucy. We have talked it over with her, and she said she would be honored to have this blog. So, this is our last post. Lucy will be taking this blog over. It will now be Lucy's Extraordinary Blog! We know, not very catchy, but we don't feel like blogging anymore. The time has come for us to leave.
We have had a wonderful experience, however. We love all of our followers and regular commenters! You all have contributed to this blog so much!
Happy Hanukkah! Lucy says she'll post about what we did for Hanukkah!

We are terribly sorry if this disappoints any of you, but we... well, it's hard to explain. Just know that this blog will still be up by Lucy, the newest girl at Kimdale.
However, maybe we shall post from time to time! This sin't for sure, though, but expect a post from us once in a blue moon.
Farewell, our dear readers! Thank you for understanding our choices!
Happy Hanukkah! Lucy says she'll post about what we did for Hanukkah!
Love,
Kirsten, Nellie, Nicki, Ruthie, Mia, Samantha, Molly, and Rebecca
P.S. Lucy will post tomorrow!

Meet Lucy! *picasa album* By Samantha
Okay, we the number of patience we have with uploading pictures to blogger is 0, so we have made a Picasa album of what Pioneer got for her birthday (the AG items) from her parents. Click HERE.
Pioneer is very pleased with the pictures. They are not blurry as they usually are, and the background is not the plain wall.
Lucy is very nice, but extremely shy. I haven't really gotten to know her yet, she just reads. I will get her to post on here soon!
If you would like reviews of any of these items, please comment on this post or any other future posts or email us at knnrmsmr@gmail.com. Pioneer would be happy to do a review.
Love,
Samantha

Oh it's lovely weather for...

... for a sleigh ride together with youuuu! Haha, that's my (Ruthie) favorite Christmas song.
We don't have snow here in Texas yet, but TOMORROW it is supposed to snow! Pioneer is very excited, even though the school won't be closing down 'unless a major news source announces our district will be closed due to inclement weather', which is lame. :P
And, guess what? Tomorrow is Pioneer's birthday! Yup, she turns ** tomorrow! Whoo-hoo! She is even more excited due to the snow prediction and that it's on a Friday! Yay!
Us dolls decided to do some 'snooping' on Pioneer's birthday presents. Well, we climbed out Pioneer's bedroom window and went to her mom's car. We peeked through the windows and through the trunk window and guess what we saw?
An American Girl doll-sized box!
Isn't that uber exciting? I wonder what doll it is?!
Well, I guess we'll found out tomorrow after Pioneer gets home from school! Yay!
Really truly,
Ruthie
P.S. Pioneer is posting real quick. Random, I know, but here is what a custom doll of me would look like:
Samantha Parkington's eyes
Rebecca Rubin's face mold
An auburn, wavy wig with bangs
Oh, and I'm mad. I missed the Grammy's (spelling?) last night!
