A post from Katie

Wow, today is the last day of 2009. Tomorrow will be a whole new year! It seems like yesterday I was struggling to keep my eyes open as I waited for AG to update their site, lol.

Anyway, I shall now talk about Lanie. I love her. She is adorable. I am going to save up my money this year so that I can buy her. I just love her! If I do buy her, I am going to change her name a bit. Instead of pronouncing it Lay-nie, I am going to pronounce it Lah-nie. I just don't think Lay-nie suits her well. She looks more of a Lah-nie to me. :P

I especially love the outfit she is wearing on the cover of her second book, Lanie's Real Adventures. I just can't get over how darn cute she is! She kind of reminds me of one of my brother's best friends, M., who is a girl. M. looks a lot like Lanie, except for the eye color and the curls. O_O

Now, for my New Year's Eve plans:

-Relax
-Read
-Write
-Have family come over for dinner.
-Watch fireworks
-Stay up late
-Check AG site

Yeah, not very exciting, but oh well. Gotta go tend to other activities of sorts no, so I shall now bid thee farewell (old fashioned style! Lol!)

2 days!

2 days until Christmas! I am so excited! That's a picture of me in my Santa hat and holding up my stocking. What are you asking for from Santa Claus?

Have you heard about the new GOTY 2010? Her name is Lanie Holland. In her books she sounds sweet. Pioneer loves her so far, and she says that she is asking for her for Christmas (by ordering her as a late Christmas present). If you want to find out more about Lanie, click HERE. Doll Diaries is THE place to go to find out information about your favorite doll brand! Pioneer discovered it last December, and loves it.

What are your plans for tomorrow and Christmas day? Tomorrow is the holiday gala where I will be singing. Anabella Howard (the girl I mentioned in the last post) is in the choir, I just noticed at practice yesterday. I didn't realize that she was the one who was such a teacher's pet and always got called on to sing a solo because of her beautiful voice. Ms. Crandall, our choir teacher, says I need to practice a little, so I don't get to sing solos. :( But Anabella gets to sing a solo tomorrow. I don't really know her yet, though, but I guess I will tomorrow at the after-party for choir members!

Speaking of the after-party, Ms. Crandall announced it yesterday! She said that we will be having our after-party at 9:30, when the holiday gala ends. We are having it in the choir room. Ms. Crandall is going to recite, "The Night Before Christmas" to us and act it out, then we will watch Christmas movies and eat sweets! It lasts till midnight, then we all have to run back to our dorms and wait for Santa Claus to come! I'm very excited!

I have to go practice now. yes, even though it's Christmas break, the choir students must practice this week. :P Bye and have a good day!

It's Christmastide again!

I can't wait for Christmas Eve! I like it better than Christmas day for some reason. Probably because Christmas day goes by WAY too fast!

The holiday gala is on Thursday night. I'm very excited. Nellie, one of Pioneer's dolls, said that there's this girl named Anabella who will be there. She is supposed to be really popular and stuff, but I don't know her yet. Nellie says she's not very nice. O_o

Pioneer is sad because Chrissa is sold out, and she wanted her for Christmas, but oh well, there is always *drum roll* eBay! Haha!

I've gotten to know one of Pioneer's dolls quite well, Mia. She's very nice. She told me she would teach me how to ice skate at the practice rink here at Kimdale, which is awesome because I am awful at ice skating, I usually end up on ym backside and bruised when at the rink. :P

Well, I'll post more tomorrow!

Getting the Christmas tree!

Hello all! Merry *early* Christmas!

I will make a Picasa album of my trip to get Pioneer's Christmas tree soon. It was 2 weeks ago I believe, but oh well.

I am so excited for Christmas! It is my absolute most very favorite day ever! I love it even more than my birthday! Kimdale is having a holiday gala, but I won't be mingling because I'm in the school Christmas choir! I'll be singing songs there. We will be singing, "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing", "O Christmas Tree", "Jingle Bell Rock", "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree", and then "O Night Divine." We will also sing, "I have a little Dreidel" for the Jewish dolls at Kimdale.

And now, I present unto you the glory of my Christmas wishlist:

Winter Pajamas for Dolls
Holiday Shoe Set for Dolls
Flute Set
A pet!
This gorgeous dress
Best Dressed Black Dress

So, that is my wishlist. The chances of getting every single of these items are slim to none, but I really want at least 1 thing from here.

I have to go Christmas shopping now, so I will post later.

Lots of warm and funzy feelings,

Lucy >.<

My first post

Hi! As you all know, my name is Mary-Lucia "Lucy" Kenelly, and I am the new author of this blog.

Well, for starters I'm a JLY #34, and my favorite color is purple. I'm 11. My favorite thing to do besides write is read fantasy (princesses, dragons, fairies, witches, etc.) and historical fiction (preferably about the 1800s and the Holocaust) novels. I am a student at Kimdale Academy for Young Ladies.

So, that's me. :P

Anyway, I started Kimdale last Monday. I really like it here! My dorm is on the other side of the building, away from Pioneer's other dolls' dorms. It's really cool!

Sorry for such a short first post, but I have to get off now. I'll write more later!

Bye!

A Very Important Anouncement Containing the Fate of this Blog

Dear Readers,

With lots of thinking, us dolls (that being Kirsten, Nellie, Nicki, Ruthie, Mia, Samantha, Molly, and Rebecca) have decided something. It has been thought about for a while now, and we have decided that it should happen.

8 of us (Kirsten, Nellie, Nicki, Ruthie, Mia, Samantha, Molly, Rebecca) have decided that we will not be posting on this blog anymore. We are handing the blog over to Lucy. We have talked it over with her, and she said she would be honored to have this blog. So, this is our last post. Lucy will be taking this blog over. It will now be Lucy's Extraordinary Blog! We know, not very catchy, but we don't feel like blogging anymore. The time has come for us to leave.

We have also decided to go our own ways, meaning we are not sisters anymore, but we are classmates and students at Kimdale.

We have had a wonderful experience, however. We love all of our followers and regular commenters! You all have contributed to this blog so much!

We are terribly sorry if this disappoints any of you, but we... well, it's hard to explain. Just know that this blog will still be up by Lucy, the newest girl at Kimdale.

However, maybe we shall post from time to time! This sin't for sure, though, but expect a post from us once in a blue moon.

Farewell, our dear readers! Thank you for understanding our choices!

Happy Hanukkah! Lucy says she'll post about what we did for Hanukkah!

Love,

Kirsten, Nellie, Nicki, Ruthie, Mia, Samantha, Molly, and Rebecca

P.S. Lucy will post tomorrow!

Meet Lucy! *picasa album* By Samantha

Okay, we the number of patience we have with uploading pictures to blogger is 0, so we have made a Picasa album of what Pioneer got for her birthday (the AG items) from her parents. Click HERE.

Pioneer is very pleased with the pictures. They are not blurry as they usually are, and the background is not the plain wall.

Lucy is very nice, but extremely shy. I haven't really gotten to know her yet, she just reads. I will get her to post on here soon!

If you would like reviews of any of these items, please comment on this post or any other future posts or email us at knnrmsmr@gmail.com. Pioneer would be happy to do a review.

Love,

Samantha

Oh it's lovely weather for...

... for a sleigh ride together with youuuu! Haha, that's my (Ruthie) favorite Christmas song.

We don't have snow here in Texas yet, but TOMORROW it is supposed to snow! Pioneer is very excited, even though the school won't be closing down 'unless a major news source announces our district will be closed due to inclement weather', which is lame. :P

And, guess what? Tomorrow is Pioneer's birthday! Yup, she turns ** tomorrow! Whoo-hoo! She is even more excited due to the snow prediction and that it's on a Friday! Yay!

Us dolls decided to do some 'snooping' on Pioneer's birthday presents. Well, we climbed out Pioneer's bedroom window and went to her mom's car. We peeked through the windows and through the trunk window and guess what we saw?

An American Girl doll-sized box!

Isn't that uber exciting? I wonder what doll it is?!

Well, I guess we'll found out tomorrow after Pioneer gets home from school! Yay!

Really truly,

Ruthie

P.S. Pioneer is posting real quick. Random, I know, but here is what a custom doll of me would look like:

Samantha Parkington's eyes
Rebecca Rubin's face mold
An auburn, wavy wig with bangs

Oh, and I'm mad. I missed the Grammy's (spelling?) last night!

What Pioneer ordered from AG

Hi everyone! It's Sam! Sorry the pictures are super late, we've been really busy.

Wow, I haven't posted on here for such a long time! Weird, and it was meant to be mainly my blog!

So, Pioneer got Kirsten's baking outfit and Kirsten's nightgown. :D Pioneer totally recommends them! Sorry some of the pics look freaky. Pioneer was playing around with them.

Well, anywho, Pioneer got into her (enter grade) school spelling bee and the main part in her school's (enter grade) play! She's very happy! And plus, it's only 9 days until her birthday! I wonder if a new doll will come? And if so, which one?

The other dolls are making me give you some updates on our lives. So here:

1) We've decided not to go by 'sisters' anymore, but more like good friends.

2) Like in the post before, we are planning to make some very drastic changes to this blog in December. DRASTIC.

3) Blogger is being a meanie and won't tell us on our faves list when theirs a new post on one of our fave blogs (sorry if that sounded confusing, I'm not a good person to ask to explain something. See?)!

4) All of the other dolls say hi.

5) We have this whole week off for school! Nyah-nyah-nyah-nyah! Heehee, just kidding! :D

Sorry for the short post, but we will make it up to you, especially with the holidays quickly approaching!

Love,

Sam

Aaaagh! We are horrible!

We are utterly sorry about not posting in 2 weeks! You have permission to yell at us.

(crowd yells and throws paper wads)

Okay, y'all good now? Good. :D

Well, we will post those pictures of the things Pioneer bought from AG later this week.

We just felt the need to post.

Also, we will be making some drastic changes in December, a little bit after Pioneer's birthday, which is December 4th, which is by the way only 19 days away! Maybe a new doll will come!?

Oh, and today is Quinlyn's birthday!

Sorry this was a lame post. We just needed to update y'all on a few things. To make this post bearable, here's a picture Pioneer took of all of us (including Mini Julie!) in our meet outfits, except Kirsten, who was wearing her summer dress, since it was summer when Pioneer took this. :DLove,

All 8 of us

Ruthie, Nellie, and Kirsten's Halloween Picture

Hi guys! Okay, I am so sorry, but this is Katie Kenelly again. :P I am so very sorry I have been taking this blog over lately!

I finally got around to taking a picture of Ruthie, Nellie, and Kirsten dressed up for Halloween! I only had costumes for 3 of my dolls, and the costumes coordinated with them, so yeah. Hope y'all like it! Here's what the girls are dressed up as, starting with Ruthie and going right:

Ruthie as a Pink Princess
Nellie as an Irish Step Dancer
Kirsten as Saint Lucia

Also, I realized last Friday, when I was looking on AG's website, that I had saved up enough money for something/some things! But, I want to keep it a surprise! I'm guessing it will be coming either tomorrow or Thursday.

I'm not going to update my Ticker because I'm kind of confused about how much $ I have saved up, but I'll update it as soon as I've got it all figured out, by the way. :D

Love,

Katie Kenelly

P.S. The dolls say hi and also that they're sorry that I am hogging this blog! Their such ratfinks!

The SURPRISE (!!!!!!!!!) and a TON of other great updates!

Hey everyone! It's Katie! So, today I am finally going tot tell you what the surprise is!

Here were the hints:

1) It's from AG, but it's not an AG doll
2)England.

"What could this possibly be?" you ask. It's.....

*drumroll please*

GIRLS OF MANY LANDS DOLL ISABELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!
Yep, I found her on eBay for a very low price, so my mom let me get her as long as I would work for it (such as extra chores). Here are some pics:
Isn't she gorgeous? I swear I'm not trying to brag! I just wanted to clear that up now.

She came without her book, but with her doll stand and her shoes and socks! She's very pretty! I will make a Picasa album of the dolls meeting her.

Another update-- I entered my first giveaway on American Girl's Fan in England, where Sierra was giving away Candlelight for Rebecca and I won! Yay! Thanks Sierra! So I will send her my address tonight! :D

I also finally met a girl in one of my classes today that loves AG as much as I do! We have a lot in common! I also found 2 books at my school library that I want to read (okay, as some of you probably know, I love reading and my school library has NOTHING good for me to read, but I found 2 good ones)! Okay, that's not doll related but oh well.

Oh, 1 more update-- I will take a picture of Ruthie, Kirsten, and Nellie all dressed up for Halloween! I only have enough costumes for 3 of my dolls, so that's why I'm only taking pictures of them. :D

Love,

Katie

P.S. Sorry I've been taking over this blog lately!

A wonderful day! By Katie Kenelly

Oh my gosh! Today is great (except for having an ear infection :P)! Why?

1) 20 followers! Yay! Thank you guys so much! You all are awesome! Thanks so much!

2) The SURPRISE CAME!!!! Yup, the package just arrived! I'm sick now, though, so I won't be able to take any pictures of it yet, but here's a hint: England.

The dolls have no idea yet, they didn't even know I was looking at this item on eBay! :D

If you know what it is, please don't comment saying what it is! Thanks!

Sorry for the short post, my ear is starting to hurt again. :P

Nellie

Hi everyone, it's Nellie. On my first day of school post, I said that something cam back to haunt me, and that I couldn't tell y'all right then. Well, my 'sisters' aren't here right now, so here's the story, which takes place on the first day of school:

I was walking with Samantha down the hallway. Her fourth period class is different then mine, but in the same hallway, so yeah. We waved good-bye and I walked into my classroom. I walked up to my teacher and asked her where I sit. She pointed to seat 5. I turned around and scanned the classroom, taking in all the colors and such. My teacher had decorated the room with bright summer colors, like turquoise, lime green, hot pink, lemon yellow, etc. There were also guinea pigs in the back of the room where 5 girls were playing with him. I smiled and began to look at the girls in their seats. I said hi to some of the girls I knew, and then began to make my way to seat 5. Just as I placed my books on my desk, I saw a flash of blond hair whip around in the corner of my eye. I turned and you'll never guess who I saw:

ANNABELLA.

That's right! The girl who I became best friends with when I first arrived at Kimdale! I was shocked. She got suspended for hacking into the headmistress's computer, but we never knew when, or if, she would come back. But there she was! How was I so sure? Coco Chanel (remember her, C.C. for short?) came up to her and said, "Annabella, I'm so glad you're back!"

Annabella smiled. She was wearing the Jumper and Boots set from AG, and she had her hair pulled back in a ponytail with a big pink bow. She also had dangly
earrings and doll braces. I tried not to stare, but suddenly she turned and our eyes locked. Her cold, piercing blue eyes turned to slits when she saw me. I felt frozen.

Slowly, her lips curved into a smile. Her eyes slowly un-slitted (is that even a word???? Lol!) and she turned back to whisper something to C.C. I realized I hadn't been breathing. I quickly gathered myself together and tried my best to forget about her.

Oh no! I'm so worried! She hasn't said anything to me yet, and it's already been 7 weeks, but what if she comes to my dorm and tries to talk to me??????

love,

Nellie

I got tagged!

*post by Katie Kenelly*

I got tagged by Rose!!! Thanks Rose! Okay, so I have to tell a funny story! Here it is:

Today (yes, how ironic!) I was playing volleyball, which is my favorite sport, and the team we were playing against was winning. Well, someone on the other team bumped the ball so hard it went flying to the ceiling and came straight down on our side. I was standing under where the ball was supposed to land, so, naturally, I got ready to bump it. When it was time for me to bump it, I realized I had to set it because I was too close to the net and if I bumped the ball it would go flying backwards. I realized this when I jumped into the air to bump it. So, I bent my arms and got ready to set it while I was in midair, and set it with great force. But I closed my eyes. I can close my eyes, but in this case I couldn't for too long. But I did close my eyes for too long. So, I set the ball and since I couldn't see I hit it out-of-bounds and it somehow threw me off balance. my legs went straight up in front of me, my back straight up, and my middle straight down, making my body look like a 40 degree angle! I fell smack down on the court! It didn't hurt, just my backside, but I laughed so hard! My friends and I were laughing our heads off!

So, that's my funny story! I tag anyone who wants to be tagged! Bye!

Love,

Katie Kenelly

My beautiful Kirsten...

*post by Katie Kenelly*

As some of you might know, Marisol Luna was my first doll, but I sold her and got Kirsten Larson, the lovable blond-haired, blue-eyed immigrant from Sweden growing up in Minnesota in 1854. Kirsten has always been my absolute favorite doll (don't tell the other dolls). She's a pioneer, she's from Sweden like me, and her stories are American Girl *classics* (lol I'm a dork :P). I read all of her books way-back-when and totally fell in love with her. So, with all the money I earned I finally got her and she was my only doll for a long time.

Fast forward to 2009.....

American Girl is archiving Kirsten!!!! I am so sad I can't even tell y'all! I hope it's not the last year with her because I need to get all of her outfits that are still left! I hope they come out with a new 1800s doll because they are taking away a PIONEER doll! Addy is a wonderful doll that I want, but her stories are about the Civil War. Josefina is another beautiful doll, but her stories aren't about growing up as a pioneer. Why, oh why must you do this to me American Girl????? First you retire Samantha and Nellie (the only Irish doll!) now Kirsten! If your retire Molly and Emily or Felicity and Elizabeth before I get to get any of them (besides Molly), then I am going to go crazy.

I am so sad about this. :'( I'm too sad to say anymore about Kirsten.

Love,

Katie Kenelly

What Kimdale is like for us so far

*note: this post was originally supposed to be posted on the 15th, but things came up and we finally posted it today, so this is all taking place last week.

Okay, we will each post a few sentences about school so far:

Kirsten: My first day of school was great! My homeroom teacher is really nice, and it's history so I'm very good at it! At lunch (lunch is at 12:30, so that means we've already done 3 period) I sat with my "sisters" and then back in class, we took a small pop quiz. I got every answer right. It was great! Math is second period, and I hate Math, so not much to say 'bout that. Science next, which is fun but not my favorite, then English which is also fun, then Gym and Theatre Arts, my elective. I then go back to my homeroom where we work on all our homework for the remainder of the day. Overall, school's good so far!

Nellie: The first day of school was AWFUL! I can't tell you why now, so I will in a different post. Something came back to haunt me.....

Nicki: School's good. All of my teachers are nice. I love all the subjects. Pet Training Club is great. Sorry, I'm just very tired right now so I'm not really giving you any details. My schedule is practically the same as Kirsten's, except I have Science first. *yawns, coughs* Ugh, I'm sick, so I'm going to go lie down. xP Sorry!

Ruthie: I LOVE school! My new best friend, Kit, who is also my roommate, and I are in the same classes! But I sit with my "sisters" at lunch, so yeah. But, anyway, Kit and I do homework together and all sorts of stuff! She really is a great friend! Her and I are watching the Kit Kitteridge movie right now, so I'll talk to y'all later. Bye!

Mia: I'm in the figure skating class!!!!! Well, for fourth period, but I'm still in it! I love it! It's so fun! I just feel like I'm flying as I glide on the silvery ice! Yes, sorry that's poetic, but it's true! I'm the best in my class.... well, that's what Coach Frank says. But it's so fun! We didn't do any of the "instruction" junk, which I hate, we just immediately started skating! I'm so excited! The first performance will be in December, but we're already practicing! It's going to be a Christmas performance-type-deal, so I'm looking forward to it. The other classes are fine, same ol' same ol'. Bye!

Sam: School's perfect. Miss Frouchy is nice, unlike the Miss Frouchy we all know! Nellie isn't really talking to us though. She seems a little upset about something. She just sits on her window seat in her dorm staring out the window with a sad look on her face. I've tried talking to her but she just sighs and says, "I don't want to talk right now." I'm worried sick!

Molly: Miss Lamb is GREAT! I LOVE HER CLASS! IT'S IRISH LITERATURE! Sorry for all caps, but Irish literature is soo fun! We just study Irish legends and stories and write our own! Right now we're studying W.B. Yeats, who is one of Pioneer's favorite poets of all time. We have to memorize a poem written by him and then recite it aloud to the class in a week, and so far I've got it almost all memorized! ;) I'll let Beckie write now. Love ya!

Beckie: *sigh* Well, school's good. Yesterday was the first day of Rosh Hashana, so I'm really excited since the new year is starting! My "sisters" celebrated it with me. I am glad to start a new year. I feel fresh and new, but I'm still VERY worried about the new dolls, especially since I have no idea whatsoever about the 2 new ones coming next! Agh, Pioneer makes me so frustrated! Well, I gotta go now. Sorry this post wasn't about the first day of school. Shalom.

Soooo..... that was all of our first day of school.

Quick, quick...

It's Katie Kenelly. Sorry if I accidentally have some typos in here..... my cat keeps nuzzling her head into my hand as I type.

Okay, so you may have noticed that the Ticker at the bottom isn't titled, 'Savings for Murron and Iseult and 2 new outfits' anymore. Well, I've decided that I'm not getting Murron and Iseult next. Maybe later, but now I've decided to get 2 different dolls. Yup. And two different outfits.

Now, you're probably thinking two things: 1) OMG is she serious??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? She CHANGED HER MIND after she said ALL SUMMER tahat she was going to get those dolls????????? She's insane! And 2) Well, what dolls and outfits then?

Well, here are your answers: 1) I'm getting 2 dolls I've wanted for a longer period of time and 2) They're surprises!

Yep, they're surprises. I might give you hints when I order them, like each day until they arrive I might say what the dolls' hair colors are, what kind of AG they are, etc. But for now, you will have to just wonder. :)

Love,

Katie Kenelly

A quick moment please...

I think we should all take a minute to remember those who died one this horrible day 8 years ago. We should honor them by just taking a minute out of our day to remember. This is a very emotional day to some, and shall never be forgotten. I do remember this day, so this is very special to me. Bless them all.

Now a moment of silence, please.

The Star Spangled Banner
By Francis Scott Key
Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thro' the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner! Oh long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion,
A home and a country should leave us no more!
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."

And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Melody Valerie

Hi guys! It's Katie Kenelly posting. The Melody Valerie Fall Line came out today! Gosh, all of them are GORGEOUS! I especially love the Snowflake dress! It's is my favorite! *This is not my picture. It belongs to Melody Valerie Doll Couture.

Ugh! The new AG items are making me crazy! But, I've already decided to get Murron and Iseult, and I can't back out of it now. Plus, I've already decided to save up for Felicity after Murron and Iseult.

Anyway, hopefully the new Picasa albums will be up this weekend, and hopefully the girls' school photos, which were taken today. :)

Love,

Katie Kenelly

The new AG stuff!

Omg omg omg omg!!! Guess what??? The NEW JLYs came out today!!! Aaaah!!!! They're all gorgeous, Pioneer loves them all! But Pioneer LOVES these two! She she thinks they're drop-dead gorgeous! She loves them! She wants them soo bad! *These pgotos came from American Girl. They are not our photos.

Now, you're probably all wondering, "Gosh, Pioneer sure wants a LOT of dolls!"... well, she does, and so I am going to make a list of all the dolls she wants to buy (in order):

  • Murron Chisolm (saving up for her)
  • Iseult McCormick (saving up for her)
  • Felicity Merriman
  • JLY med skin, blue eyes, black/brown wavy hair (left picture)
  • JLY light skin, brown curly hair, green eyes (right picture)

Let's just call those JLYs Helena (left one) and Rachel (right one) for the time being. Pioneer probably won't name them that if she gets them, but whenever we talk about those dolls we'll just say those names.

Anyway, AG came out with other things too! Awesome new outfits! Beautiful new items!

Okay, we have to go now, but remember Pioneer is still buying Murron and Iseult!

Love,

Molly

Ikea bed!

Hi guys!!!! Guess what? On Saturday night, Pioneer and her family were shopping at Ikea and they found a doll sized bed there!!!!! So, Pioneer's mom agreed to buy it if Pioneer worked it off, which she did Sunday after church, and so now we have a bed! Yay! We let Kirsten and Nellie have it, partly because Kirsten is Swedish and her and Nellie were the first dolls. Click HERE to see the Picasa album of it! You have to be logged in though to Picasa to view it. I put that in bold because I don't want anyone to miss it. :) If you don't have a Picasa, we will post the pictures on here. :0) Yes, we know, the light is weird on some pictures, and a little blurry, but you can still see the pics!

The other Picasa albums will hopefully be up this weekend, and all of our special Back to School posts will also be up hopefully this weekend.

Gotta go, bed time. :P

Love,

Molly

Sorry!

We're so sorry for not posting for a couple of days! We've all been very busy with school!

Kirsten's play went GREAT! She has a true talent for acting, and she is going to be in more plays throughout the year! She has a great voice! Bea
utiful! We will make a Picasa soon out of it, promise! Also, we will make a back to school album! Yay!

I will also post a long post about the first day of school this weekend!

Pioneer has started saving up for Murron and Iseult! We will get one of those Ticker things that Rose and Avery have so that you guys know it's official! :)

Oh, one more thing... Rebecca wants this dress from Damsels-in-Dress soo bad! I think it's beautiful! But Pioneer is saving up for Murron and Iseult, so we probably won't
get it. :'(

Love, Molly

P.S. This is Katie Kenelly now, and as you may have noticed, the Surprise Hints have been taken down 'cause it was just, well, not official. The Surprise was meant to be Chrissa. :)

New background

Hi guys! It's Molly!

First of all, do y'all like the new background? We changed it since it's almost Fall. I think it's pretty!!

And second of all, tonight is Kirsten's play! It starts in 30 minutes, and is 3 hours long!! Kirsten is already there rehearsing one last time with her group, and we have the party set up and everything! We will most likely make a Picasa out of it, so it will be up either tomorrow or Monday! Yay!

It's going to be a sleepover party in Nellie's dorm, since no one is sharing it with her. We're very excited!!!!

Sorry for the short post! Here, we'll entertain you with a picture of Murron and Iseult, even though they won't be here for a while. :( *These are not my pictures, they come from the official American Girl website.

Murron is ready for Camp!!!!!

Iseult is going to bed after a long day at Camp with her BFF Murron!!!

Message Boards and other things

Hi guys!!! It's Molly! Guess what? Last night, Pioneer finally joined 2 message boards!!!! She joined the Our Dolls message board and the American Girl Fan message board! She might join AGPT, but she has to talk to her mom about it first. She also wants to join American Girl Fans Message Board, but they're taking a hiatus from letting people register. :(. Does anyone belong to that message board????? If so, will you please comment and tell us what it's like?

So, if you ever want to search for her, her username is pioneerfan04 on everything.

Anyway, I've been taking over this blog lately. Do you think I should rename this blog to "Molly and her sisters' Extraordinary Blog!" or not? I don't know if Sam would really like that, so I don't know. Comment and tell us what you think about changing the name (We might not, even if everyone says we should, we're just seeing what y'all think) please!

Oh, and since summer's almost over, Pioneer was thinking of doing a Summer Photo Shoot! There's this nice little park by Pioneer's house, so she might take a picture of some of us modeling by the trees! Doesn't that sound fun?

Also, Pioneer doesn't really like Felicity's purple meet dress. She likes Felicity's old meet dress. Which one do y'all guys like?

OR
*Felicity's purple dress came from American Girl and her rose outfit came from Google

I also really like her rose outfit better. Maybe, when Pioneer gets her, she could get Felicity's rose outfit off of eBay? That would be a good idea. I just don't think the purple outfit suits Felicity!

*sighs* School starts Monday. And there's a rumor going around the school that they may change Kimdale's name to Night Valley!!! Either Night Valley or Star Valley. That means our school would be changed to "Night Valley School for Young Ladies" or "Star Valley School for Young Ladies"! I think that Night/Star Valley sounds more attractive, but I don't think that the mayor should just randomly change the city's name!!!! Maybe they should change it to "Kimdale Valley" or something. They have to keep Kimdale in the city. They have to!

Well, I guess it's not that big of a deal, after all, Kimdale was just founded in 2000, so it wouldn't like changing America's name to Fish or something.

Bleh. I have to go now... time to go sign up for art clubs and stuff!!!!

Love,

Molly

Sorry and HOLY GUACAMOLE!

Hi guys! It's Molly. I'm so sorry for not posting on here in 2 days! We've been very busy preparing for school, since it starts next Monday!

And HOLY GUACAMOLE, we have 16 followers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to ALL of our followers! I can't believe we have 16 already!!!!! That's great!!!!! I can't say how much I thank you guys! Y'all are awesome!!!! I am so happy!!!!!

We're ready for school! There's going to be a party in the cafeteria Sunday night that we're all going to. It's like a little end-of-summer celebration. I can't wait! Nicki and Kirsten are wearing their summer outfits (they're the only ones with summer outfits!) and Mia called the AG B&B Atlanta shirt, so I'm kind of angry that I have to wear my Meet Outfit all the time! I need my Camp Outfit!!! I tried to convince Pioneer (she's starting to go by Katie Kenelly on her posts, but it's easier for me to say Pioneer) to get some outfits instead of dolls, but then she got really mad at me for saying I don't want Murron and Iseult to ever come.

Pioneer promised she'll ask for a few outfits for her birthday and for Christmas, but for now she wants some dolls.

Oh, and guess what? Ruthie from Ruthie's View got us thinking about Halloween (or Hallow's/Hollow's Eve as Kirsten likes to put it), and we've decided what we're going to do... we're going to go to a pumpkin patch and pick some pumpkins there!!!!!! We've never done it before, but we've heard that at some pumpkin patches, they have rides and sometimes a ferris wheel or something! We're really excited (Rebecca is still pouty though)!

Well, I just wanted to update you on a few thingermabobbers. I posted a random picture of Beckie that I thought was pretty.

Love,

Molly

Meet the Teacher and The Sound of Music

Hi everyone! It's Katie Kenelly. I just wanted to write something real quick. Sorry for not writing yesterday! I was at a furniture store with my family, and I went into the kids room with my little brother and baby sister, and they had these fun chairs that were like seesaws. My brother would catapult me off one end, and it was so fun! I also did it with my baby sister (I caught her, don't worry) and she was laughing so hard! It was so fun! I just wanted to write something funny today! Molly wants to write now. Bye!

Love,

Katie Kenelly

Hi guys! It's Molly now. So, on Friday night we met our teachers. Miss Lamb, my teacher, is very nice! She has platinum blonde hair that was swept up in a coiled bun, and she was wearing a high-waisted skirt and a short-sleeved blouse that was tucked in. She was beautiful! She said she was very excited about being my first teacher ever at Kimdale.

Then we went to Rebecca's teacher. She got Miss Marigold as her homeroom teacher, and Miss Marigold is the performing arts teacher! Rebecca was still cranky, though, so she wasn't very happy. But Miss Marigold was still nice!

After that, Sam and Nellie made us go meet Miss Frouchy. We were all so scared, but Miss Frouchy is actually pretty nice! She said that she wasn't related to the Miss Frouchy Sam and Nellie knew. So, that was a relief.

Then we went to see Mia and Nicki's teacher. Their teacher was the music teacher, and she was also nice. Ruthie's teacher taught typing, so she was happy so that if Kit ever came to live with us, Ruthie could show Kit how good a typer she had become.

Kirsten's teacher teaches history. Kirsten was happy because then she could get evry answer right on tests that had to do with the 1800s. We all laughed.

Speaking of Kirsten, her play, The Sound of Music, is next Saturday night!!!!!!!! I know! She's been working so hard! We are all very excited for her!! Don't tell her, but we have a surpise party planned for her after her play! Shhhh!

After we met all of our teachers, we got a doll taxi and went to a restaurant. We went to a nice restaurant that served Jewish food (we did it for Beckie to cheer her up, and also because we all love Jewish food) and Russian food. It was very yummy. It cheered Beckie up some, and then we went home and celebrated Sabbath with her, like we do every weekend. We all had a sleepover and stayed up until 3 A.M. It was so fun1 We watched all of the American Girl movies, and we payed close attention to Felicity's because she is coming to be our new sister soon. It was a wonderful night!

We can't wait for Kirsten's play! She's been so excited about it! Yay! The cover for the play isn't where it's supposed to be, but we found it off Google if you search for "The Sound of Music".

Molly

Felicity Merriman *UPDATED*

Hi guys! It's Molly.

Okay, it's official. Pioneer wants Felicity Merriman. (*This photo is from americangirl.wikia.com)

Pioneer really wants Felicity's Town Fair outfit, but it's retitired, so she'll probably get one off eBay or get one that someone made to look like it.

Pioneer's cousin has Felicity, and she has grown out of AG, so maybe Pioneer can ask her cousin for Felicity.... LOL jk! That cousin is mean sometimes. And she probably wouldn't give any of her dolls to Pioneer anyway.

Pioneer also wants Elizabeth's Summer Gown, but that's retired also. Speaking of retired things, they retired Kirsten's Midsummer Outfit FAST! Didn't it just come out, like, in May or something? It looked so good on Kirsten! Unfortunately, Pioneer didn't get the chance to buy it. :(. Kisten would have LOVED it! Oh well. There's always eBay.

So, anyway, Pioneer wants Felicity now. Just felt like telling y'all.

Love,

Molly

*UPDATED*

Hi guys, nothing special, I just didn't want to write a second post. Tonight is Meet the Teacher night! Yay! My sisters and I have decided to go together, meet our teachers, and then have a sleepover! I'm really excited!

When I checked my mailbox this morning, I found a letter from the school (Kimdale doesn't like to deliver notes personally to the students, it takes too long). I opened it and it said:

Dear Miss Molly McIntire,
Your new homeroom teacher for the 2009/2010 school year
at Kimdale Boarding School for Young Ladies is Ms. Valerie Lamb.
She will be teaching you Irish Literature each school day. She
will explain the schedule to you this evening at 5:30 PM when you go to meet her. Her room number is 5 A. You will find a map of the
school in your envelope is also included.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Miss Allona Perkinson
Headmisstress of Kimdale

I really love Miss P.'s name, Allona. It was the first time I have ever heard her first name. I think it is one of the prettiest names in the whole wide world!

Anyway, I can't wait to meet my teacher! Her last name is Lamb, so hopefully she'll be as nice as a lamb. But, Nellie and Sam (unfortunately) got a teacher named MISS FROUCHY!!! Isn'ttaht awful?!?!?!? It won't be the Miss Frouchy from Sam's books, that's for sure, because she's stuck in 1905. But it could be her brother's granddaughter or something like that! Aaaah!!!

Love, again,

Molly

Thursday, August 13, 2009

Hi everyone!

Hi guys! It's Katie Kenelly now. It seems like Molly has been taking over this blog! :)

First of all, I would like to thank all 14 of my followers! Thank you all so much! You guys are great! :)

Second, I am still thinking about which AG doll I want. I wouldn't order her for a while, but still it's always fun to think about which AG doll you want. ;)

I am stuck on all of those dolls! They're all so pretty! I might not get the doll that y'all vote for the most (unless it's the one I REALLY want), I just wanted to know which doll y'all recommend.

Third, we're going to start posting more pics on this blog! Yay!

And fourth, Elizabeth's Holiday Gown (*This picture belongs to American Girl) reminds me of Christmas. Yes, I know, it IS supposed to remind me of Christmas, but her gown gives me an extra special feeling about Christmas. I guess because I wanted it so bad when I was little for Christmas, I don't know. It just gives me an extra happiness boost about Christmas. :P

I only have the rest of this week and next week until school starts! Aaaaahhh!

Hi y'all! *UPDATE*

Hey guys! It's Molly again!

Pioneer loves Pullips, and, same as before, might get one, but today she needs help with American Girl. So....... we're asking you to help us!!!! Pioneer can't decide which doll she wants next (after she gets the stuff she currently wants from AG: Murron, Iseult, etc.):
So, which doll do you think Pioneer should get? *These are not our pictures. They belong to American Girl www.americangirl.com
I want Pioneer to get Emily (of course!) and Ruthie is DEMANDING Pioneer gets Kit, but I just want Pioneer to pick a doll that she'll be happy with! Oh, and (of course) Mini Julie is threatening to run away if Pioneer doesn't get Julie (the regular sized one). Mini Julie has some "anger issues". LOL just kidding! But seriously, she needs to work on her temper!
Anyway, comment on this post to tell us which doll you recommend! Thanks!

Love,

Molly♡
P.S. Pioneer uploaded our YouTube video! Yay! Oh, and we created our first REAL Picasa! Click HERE.
*UPDATE* Hi guys! Sorry for the late-night post! Pioneer just wanted me to tell y'all that she is not obsessed with Pullips anymore. Also, she's going to put up a poll at the side with each doll she wants! Thanks to the people who have commented so far!

Pullips

So, as we said earlier, Pioneer isn't really interested in Pullips. Well, she was looking at them and saw all the cute dolls. So, now she might get one. But MAYBE. This phase might only last a day again. If she does, she'll only want 1 or 2, so it's no big deal if she does permanently become obsessed with them, right? She said she really wants this one. *THESE ARE NOT OUR PICTURES. THEY COME FROM THE OFFICIAL PULLIP WEBSITE www.thevalleyofthedolls.com.
That one's name is Moonstone, and she's only 4-5"! She seems really cute, and she's not VERY expensive, so we might like ehr if she comes to live with Pioneer. Pioneer also wants the one with the black lace up there. The on on the right is Cinciallgra, and she's expensive! So, if Pioneer gets any, those are probably the only ones she'll get. A mini Pullip and a regular Pullip. I actually think they're pretty, don't you? Pioneer thinks Moonstone would be either Cinciallgra's little sister or adopted niece-daughter. Probably sister.

Remember, this is just a thought. Pioneer doesn't know if she'll get those Pullips or not. If she does, those will most likely be her only two and that's it. She'll never doubt getting a new AG doll though! Heehee!

I don't think we should tell Beckie about the Pullips... she might get even angrier! Aaaah!

Love,

Molly

Unusual

Hi guys, it's Molly again.

So yesterday when I signed off my sisters and I tried to cheer Beckie up by imitating my auntie (who is very mean and has a rather large nose), but when we started to imitate her, Beckie jumped up and screamed as loud as she could, "LEAVE ME ALONE!" and stormed off. We were all shocked because usually Beckie doesn't yell. She wouldn't even hurt a fly! But now she was screaming!

So, I told Kirsten to go try to talk to Beckie. Kirsten came out minutes later and told Nellie to go try. Nellie came out seconds later and told Nicki to try. Nicki came out immediately and told Ruthie to try, but Ruthie only knocked on Beckie's door, and was told to go away. Mia tried next, but didn't even knock before she was told to stay away. Sam finally tried, but Beckie told her she didn't want to talk to her. It was my turn after Sam.

I knocked on Beckie's door, and Beckie hollered, "Who is it?"

Me: Molly.
Beckie: Come in.
*all my sisters stared at each other in shock as I opened the door*
Me: Beckie, what's wrong?
Beckie: I don't want to talk about it.
Me: Yes you do.
Beckie: No I don't.
Me: We both know you are dying to let it out.
Beckie: No.
Me: Yes.
Beckie: No.
Me: Yes.
Beckie: No.
Me: Yes.
Beckie: NO!
Me: Yes.
Beckie: No!
Me: No!
Beckie: YES! Oh, wait... darn it!
Me: Haha! Now, come on. Tell me.
Beckie: Fine, I will.
Me: I'm all ears.
Beckie: Well, you know how Pioneer is ordering Murron and Iseult soon?
Me: Yes...
Beckie: Well, I'm jealous.
Me: WHAT?!?
Beckie: I'M WORRIED THAT PIONEER WILL LOVE MURRON AND ISEULT BETTER!
Me: Becks, Pioneer loves us all the same!
Beckie: Well, I'm the newest doll!
Me: You and I arrived on the same day!
Beckie: Pioneer opened you first!
Me: Becks!
Beckie: Well it's true!
Me: I can't believe you, of all the dolls, are jealous.
Beckie: Well someone started a rumor that Pioneer was going to make one of the new dolls a time traveler.
Me: Yeah right. Which one of our sisters?
Beckie: Ummmm....... well....... ummmm.... I CHECKED PIONEER'S EMAIL!
Me: You don't know the password!
Beckie: Darn!
Me: Besides, so what if one of them is a time traveler? It's not the end of the world!
Beckie: What if they want to be in 1914 with me?
Me: They could pretend to be Ana!
Beckie: Nope. There's only one Ana and she is stuck in 1914.
Me: C'mon Becks. Let's go.
Beckie: NO!
Me: You can't stay cooped up in here forever.
Beckie: *narrows her eyes into slits and says through her teeth* Watch me, Molly McIntire. You just watch.
Me: *I rasberry her*
Beckie: *wipes the spit off of her face* Yuck!
Me: Heehee!

And then I left. I can't believe Beckie is acting like Sam did! It must be a thing with new dolls.

Love,

Molly

We're back!!!!!

Hi y'all! It's Molly! We just got unpacked yesterday finally! Now, we're all back at Kimdale. Yay!

Pioneer is making a video introducing all of us. She's going to start taking the pictures soon hopefully. She already has the song picked out, and she already downloaded iMovie HD on her Mac, so she's all set and ready to take pictures! And when she gets Murron and Iseult she'll make a new updated one.

Also, everyone has suddenly been talking about Pullip dolls. Pioneer was obsessed with them for about a day, but she still thinks they're pretty and stuff. She doesn't think she'll buy one, though. She likes her well-known AG dolls better (yay!).

Wait, hold on. Nellie needs to tell me something.

10 minutes later:

Uh-oh. Something is wrong with Beckie! She's sitting in the corner staring at the walls. She won't talk to anybody! Not even Sam or Nellie (all 3 of them are expecially close because of their close time periods)! Whenever I walked over to her and tried to talk to her, she turned away. What's wrong with our Beckie?!?!?!? She's usually so nice and sweet and outgoing, but today she's quiet. What could possibly be wrong? She's not sick or anything, so something or someone might have made her feel sad.

Love,

Molly

I CAN Post!

Yay! I can post! We haven't packed the computers up yet, so yay! But, that's not the point of this post. I have a confession to make:

The dolls don't know about the surprise.

Yep. I haven't told them about getting a surprise yet. Every time they get on I quickly delete the surprise hints so they won't see it. So, don't tell them! I can't wait to tell y'all what it is and show the dolls! But the dolls won't know until the day the surprise arrives. I don't know when I'll order the surprise, but it'll be soon.

Shhh!

Still moving.

It's Katie Kenelly again. We won't be moving until Wednesday or Thursday, so I probably won't post until next week or 2 weeks maybe. Moving is so chaotic! I don't know when the dolls will be back on, but I am not going to be able to post the rest of this week. I'll probably have time to read other blogs and such, though. But this blog will currently be empty of posts. :'(.

Dark, gloominess

Hi everyone. By the time you'll be reading this, we'll probably still be in a box. Pioneer is writing this for me, Mia. We told her what to say.

This is a scheduled post.

We are crammed in a dark, gloomy, yucky, smelly cardboard box. Each of us is individually wrapped up so we don't get scratched or anything. Bleh.

I hate this box!!!!!! HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE it! It's so bleh in here! My sisters and I talk to each other through the paper, but it's still very uncomfortable. Kirsten is on top of me, and she keeps fidgeting around. Bloopedy blep.

I wanna hurry up and MOVE already!

I want Murron and Iseult!

I want the 2 new outfits!

I want the surprise!

I want a bunch of stuff!

I want some couture!

You can tell I'm crabby right now. Sorry. It's just so HOT in here and stuffy. Why did I ahev to come in tights and a sweater?

I don't know when we can post again. I am going to try to take a nap though, and maybe talk more with my sisters. Bye.

A very grumpy Mia.

Packing

Hellooooooooooo everyone! This is Pioneer posting (you're probably thinking, "WHAAAAT?!?"). Yes, I am finally posting. I'm going to start posting on here more often.

So, I'm moving Wednesday. This blog will still be the same, but the dolls won't be writing on here for a while. I might do some scheduled posts or something, I don't know.

I just packed all the dollies up. :'(. All 8 of them. We're moving on either Wednesday or Thursday. I don't know when the dolls will be able to post again.

You're probably wondering about Kimdale. The dolls came home for the week to help me pack and stuff. Yeah.

Whenever I write on here from now on, I will go by Katie Kenelly. It's Irish, and I'm Irish. I love that name. It's not my real name, though. Pioneerfan04 is still my username, but whenever I write I'll say it's Katie Kenelly.

I don't know when I'll get Murron and Iseult and all the other stuff! :(. Probably late August or something. Oh well. I'm still getting them. But probably not anytime soon.

Oh, and for Emily and Spencer:

I saw your comment on the last post. Someone Named Eva is REALLY good!!! I love reading about WWII. I'm glad you're reading it and that you love it! What's funny though is when you suggested that I read the Inkheart series, I was also thinking about reading those books! :). I didn't like the movie though, but most books are way better than the movies. So, I'm going to read the Inkheart books after I get settled at the new house. :o)

I gotta go now, so...

SHALOM!

Updates, updates, updates.

Hi guys! We ahven't been writing here very much lately, but thanks again to ALL our followers and commenters! Y'all are awesome!

Anyway, we've changed the background again. You're probably going, "UGH, AGAIN?!?". But, we like to mix things up every once in a while.

Here are some updates:

-Pioneer doesn't know when she'll order the dolls and outfits and surprise.

-The next doll Pioneer saves up for is going to be a JLY #27 named after the character in Pioneer's favorite book, Someone Named Eva by Joan M. Wolf. We don't know when we'll get her, though.

Only 2 updates. "ONLY 2?!?!?!?!?!" You say. Well, we'll be posting a LOT when schools starts and all that stuff. Well, not a lot, but maybe 1 long post a day. We won't be able to post every day, because Pioneer is going to start at a new school the same day we start at Kimdale, and we can't post without her here for some reason in the doll world, so yeah. We'll probably do some scheduled posts, MAYBE, but we don't know. We just felt like posting right now.

Love,

all 8 of us.

Thank you, Kit n' Caboodle for being our 12th follower!!!!!!!!!!! We were so happy to see 12 followers on our dashboard!!! Thank you so much to all 12 of our wonderful followers!!!!!!

Happily yours,

all 8 of us and MJ!

Hi

So we're not going to the AG B&B this summer. Pioneer's moving instead. We're all heartbroken. Pioneer is very sad about the whole dilemma. But, she's going to order Murron, Iseult, 2 outfits, and the surprise online soon. Soon as in maybe a few days or something. She doesn't wanna bug her mom because of all the stress of moving and stuff. And she just got a gift card to Barnes and Noble, and got Rebecca and Ana and LICORICE!!!!!!!! I KNOW!!!! Pioneer was so excited when she saw Licorice!!!! Now, we have 3 pets! Coconut, Sprocket, and Licorice!!! We all love our new kitty! When she saw Coconut yesterday, she pounced on him playfully and they started running around! It was the cutest thing!

Sorry for not writing in so long! Pioneer's been busy lately. We just felt like posting on all the updates.

Our 100th Post! We are all writing it!

Hi everyone! It's our 100th post, and yesterday we said we were planning to do something special. Well, it's not really all that special, but it is to us! We're making a list of all the doll couture Pioneer wants to get us! So, here goes!
  • The 1940s Party Dress from Damsels-in-Dress. Pioneer absolutely LOVES this dress! She loves everything about it! Everything!
  • The Dainty Dots Dress from Melody Valerie. Pioneer LOVES the colors and the polka dots on this dress.
  • The 1904-101 Beige Dress from Terri's Touch. Pioneer LOVES the hair ribbon that comes with it, and the colors. She just loves the style!
  • Spring #7 from Liberty Jane. Pioneer just likes the tanktop and the shorts. She's not a real big fan of Liberty Jane, 'cause they're mostly Hannah Montana clothes and she strongly dislikes (hate is not a nice word for dolls) Hannah Montana and her clothes. So, this outfit is pretty nice.
  • Kirsten 4908F (we didn't see a name for it). Pioneer loves the apron and the dress and shawl. Loves everything.

Now, that's not a whole lot, because a lot of stuff is already sold, but yeah. Pioneer REALLY wants the Damsels-in-Dress one, and the Terri's Touch one. Those are the ones she wants sooooo bad! She would love them! But, I guess she probably won't get them since a) she's already decided she's getting something at the AG B&B in Dallas and b) she doesn't wanna beg her mom to order them for her.

Well, there's always Christmas and birthdays. And sewing lessons so Pioneer can make dresses by herself. Hmm, that's not a bad idea!

Since we're on the subject of clothes, Pioneer wants to take sewing lessons so she can make us clothes for FREE!
Well, she's still have to buy fabric and her own sewing kit, but still she wouldn't have to buy a dress! She is thinking of making something for Nellie, since she's Pioneer's first Irish AG doll (Pioneer's Irish), and Nellie doesn't really have a lot for her time period. Samantha doesn't either, but Pioneer wants to make a dress for Nellie first. So, she wants to kind of remake Nellie's spring/birthday/pink (Pioneer's forgotten the name of it!) dress. She'll probably have to be an excellent sewer to make that, though, so she'll start with something basic, like a long-skirted prairie teacher-ish outfit for Kirsten or any of us. Pioneer LOVES the time of the pioneers (you can tell by the name), so that'll probably be her first easy one, and Nellie's will probably be her first hard one. Pioneer already has a Barbie prairie teacher-ish dress so she can use that as a model of what to make. Now, we need sewing lessons. Argh! But, I have (or more like hope) that Pioneer will catch on to sewing easily because she has 'piano hands' (long, slender fingers) and she can make those bracelets and stuff in about 5 minutes. So, sewing can't be that hard for her, right? Oh, let's hope!

Anyway, I wonder who Pioneer will pick as a model to take pictures of when she's done making a dress? I know, we're thinking too far ahead, but this stuff is fun to plan! Like, how some girls think about what they want for their birhtday when it's 3 months away or something. Pioneer will probably pick a doll that fits in with the time-period of the dress she made. Like, for her first dress she want's to make (the prairie teacher one) she'll probably pick from Kirsten, Sam, or Beckie. For Nellie's dress she'll definitely pick Nellie (no duh, Nicki!). I don't know. We're just really excited today.

Speaking of fashion, we can't wait to go to the American Girl Boutique and Bistro! Pioneer's parents are thinking about going next weekend, but it's not for sure yet. So, we won't say it is definitely next weekend, but we are definitely going this summer. That will probably be our first Picasa album. We'll also make an album of Kirsten in The Sound of Music, which she will be doing of August 23, the day before the very first day of school! OMG! School! Aaaah! But, we're at Kimdale, so I wonder what this school will be like. Hmmm.

We've gotta go now, but have a wonderful day!

Love,

Your friends at Samantha and her sisters' Extraordinary Blog!

Nellie's apologies and our 100th post!

Hi everyone! It's Nellie, and first of all I'm going to tell you what happened when I had to do all my apologies.

When I had to apologize to the Mini Dolls:
Dear Mini Dolls,

I am terribly sorry for the way I acted. It was entirely immature and cruel. I should not have sprayed shaving cream all over y'all. There's not enough paper in the world for me to write how sorry I am. I regret what I have done. I really do. I hope you will forgive me.

Sincerely,

Nellie O'Malley

When I had to apologize to the dolls I put signs on:

I first walked up to the Gwen doll we put that horrible sign on. This is what happened.

Me: Gwen, I'm so sorry we put that sign on you. I feel so bad! I can't even tell you how sorry I am!
Gwen: Oh. Umm, that's okay. I know you feel bad. I forgive you.
Me: Oh, thank you so much!

And then I went to apologize to the others.

When I had to apologize to the dolls that were in the dorms we threw rocks at:

I walked up to the first dorm. Inside was a Josefina doll and a Marisol doll. I apologized to them, and they forgave me. I walked tot he next dorm I threw a rock at. Inside was a Kailey doll and a Lindsey doll. I apologized to them, they forgave me, and I moved on to the next room. And the next. And the next (wow, I didn't realize until then that we threw a bunch of rocks!), and the next, and they all forgave me. Then, I moved on to the dorm that Issie threw the huge rock at, and the window almost shattered. I knocked on the door, and stared at my shoes. I couldn't look them in the eye, whoever it was.

Suddenly, the doll opened the door. I heard her gasp, but I didn't bother to look up. I couldn't.

Me: I'm sorry for throwing the the rock at your window on the Fourth of July. It was huge and almost went right threw, and it could've hurt you. I am so sorry. I feel awful. I feel so ashamed I can't even look you in the eyes.
The doll: It's okay. We forgive you. We already have.
Me: *confused* What?!?! (I then gasped)

My hand flew to my mouth, and tears started falling down my cheeks. My sisters, all 7 of them, were standing in the doorway. I had thrown the rocks at their window. I could've hurt my very own sisters.

Me: Oh my gosh!
Sam: Nellie, it's okay! We already made up Monday!
Me: No, no. It's not okay.
Sam: Nellie, c'mon! We're past all the drama! There's no point in going back!
Me: You're right. I'm still sorry, though.
Mia: That's okay.

And then we all gathered into a group hug! Yay!

Okay, now, we're over the drama.... for now. LOL!

Anywho, since tomorrow will be our 100th post, we're going to do something special. We don't know what yet, but it's going to be good!

Oh, and look at this:
